It's a .....BABY!
What could be more fun than taking photographs of another photographer and her family? Fellow local photographer Michelle (see her work here!) asked me to take photos of her recent and exciting news...she is expecting baby#2! We headed to Erindale Park in Mississauga for some pregnancy announcement photos that she could use to share with her family and friends! What a fun way to share such amazing news!

Congrats Michelle and family! It was great getting to meet you in "real" life!

7 Months Old Now!

Six months ago I met this lovely family at Amelia's newborn session see here
Wow, time flies. The family was back in Canada for the holidays, and I was lucky enough to meet up with them to photograph Miss A again at 7 months.  Aleisha and David wanted the photos to be "real" and represent their daily lives...so we just hung out, relaxed, and watched Amelia play! It was a rainy day, but I think that added to mood of the photos! And we even got a few great holiday images as well!
Thanks again for choosing me as your photographer! I can't wait until the next time!

P and her Boys

I met up with this family at Jack Darling Park in Mississauga for some group photos. They had not had family photos done for awhile and one of the boys was leaving for the UK shortly to start a new adventure! It was a fun evening, some silly poses and overall just fun!

Mom and Son love!
One of my faves, such a great family shot!

 This one makes me laugh!
 Such a fun family!
 Boys will be boys!

To P and your boys.....I enjoyed our session and hope you enjoy the photos just as much as I do!

Until next time!

Love, Bee.

Today's shoot meant a lot to me. About 6 months ago I received an email from Ashley, a complete stranger, asking me to take photographs of her newborn son, Quincy.
This was significant for several reasons. 1) It was the first time a STRANGER asked me to take photos for them, 2) it was the first newborn session I ever did, and 3) well, it was my first paid shoot!.
Therefore, Baby Quincy started it all!
Now, 6 months later, Ashley contacted me again to take some 6 month pictures of Quincy. Wow.
This whole experience sort of makes me realize my dream of becoming a photographer is really coming true. And quickly.  I have been booking up quickly, booking shoots for 4-5 months from now. Most of the clients I have had has been a referral from another, or some just from seeing my work online. And the compliments I receive daily really solidify what I have developed and become. It is amazing. I LOVE what I do and would do it every single day if I could. Making someone happy just form showing them one of my images really makes my day and inspires me to learn more, practice more, and just keep going!
So, Thank you Ashley for being that first "real" customer, and coming back again!. Quincy and your family will always play a special role in this journey as I grow and develop as a photographer.
Thank you, thank you.

Quincy's Newborn Session can be seen here!

Melanie and Family

Melanie contacted me about taking photographs of her and her family. She mentioned they did not have too many family photos...and who can have that?!! So we met up, and now they have lots! I enjoyed this shoot, although the boys were a little bit of a tough crowd at first! You can see the difference between the stiff first photos, and the more relaxed ones near the end! Melanie, on the other hand, was a rock star, and I got some great solo shots of her! Mel, any time you want to model for me, let me know!

Melanie and family, thank you! I hope you enjoy these photos for years to come!

A couple weeks ago, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing 1 month old Amelia.  (Amelia is also one of my favourite names for a baby girl!). She is the cousin of Baby Quincy, who I photographed back in March!
I hope you enjoy these photographs as much as I enjoyed taking them!
I was lucky to capture this beautiful private moment between mom and daughter. Treasure these moments always!

Thank you Aleisha and David for letting me into your home and giving me the honour of photographing your beautiful baby girl! I look forward to seeing her grow up!

You can see more of Amelia here, at her six month session!
