Wow, wow, wow wow!!! This is how I felt when Shannon sent me an email saying they had adopted a gorgeous baby boy! SOOO excited for her and Chris, words could not even express! They had been waiting for a long time for this amazing event to happen and here they are with little J. He is awesome. Cute. Has amazing hair. And he is blessed with two wonderful parents who will spoil him, and give him the world.

You can see Chris and Shannon's journey of trying to conceive, to adoption, to becoming parents, on their blog What to Expect When You are Not
Its a very inspiring read. Shan has always had a way with words!
She is also a guest blogger over at the "Mom at Last" Blog - see here

still excited and giddy with joy for them!

Oh and did i mention, they live in an AMAZING house by the beach? My dream.

Thank you three for allowing me to share this incredible journey with you

Again, for the third time, introducing my gorgeous cousin and her family...all four of them!
I photographed the maternity session, and Baby Zach's first day at the hospital.
Now I got to hang out with the whole family of four, all together, on a nice sunny afternoon in Milton. We met at Kelso Park. It was my first time there, and definately not last! Great spot for a family afternoon!
Enjoy!
When did this little beauty grow up? Hard to believe she is only 3!
Once again, in love with all of these images! And the best part....they are family and I get to photograph them over and over!

He is here! He is here! Our new littlest family member, Zachary! (You can see his beautiful mama's maternity session here too!)
Zach's mom thought he would be here early just like his big sister but I guess Z had different plans.....and arrived a bit later than expected!
Nothing better than arriving at the hospital within a day to photograph a little baby. Everything is so new, even if its your second baby.
I love doing these sessions. And I use minimum editing in order to preserve every single detail from the busy messy hospital room, to the wrinkly newborn fingers, to the smiles and cries and frowns.
Because what mama wants to forget all those moments? None that I know of.
But I do know that with the sleepless nights that comes with a brand new life we often forget to notice these details....and that is where I come in.

Pure. Real. Love.

Can't wait to watch you grow baby Z...

OH MY! I do not know what to say about this family or this adorable little man! Or even about his beautiful nursery!! What style his mom has! Lindsay's mom and I work together and I am so happy that Grandma referred her daughter to me for her newborn photos. It was a bit of a drive for me, but totally worth as I am in love with these sweet and soft images. I wish all client's had light in their homes like this!
Billy was a dream to photograph, I do not think I heard him cry once! This post is HUGE, because i really could not decide on which images to show!
I really hope I get to photograph you all again one day,
